We were contacted in the middle of February about creating either a customized mini golf or putt putt experience for an activation at The Hills Country Club in Austin, Texas. The agency discovered us through our website and had also researched other companies online. Information was provided to them and then a virtual meeting was requested so the agency could ask more detailed questions about our experiences.

That meeting occurred where we shared what our capabilities and how we could successfully design the mini golf rental along with adding the branding that they were initially interested in. The area where the course was going to be placed was shared with us and our in house course designers began the process of creating a mini golf course that would fit in the outdoor space. The objectives told to us by the agency representing Dell Computer was to create a mini golf experience that the event attendees will enjoy playing, be fun but still challenging and allow for the agency to place their own brandable elements around the course. Several course designs were drafted and a 6 hole custom mini deluxe experience was agreed upon along with several brandable elements that we would provide.

The first brandable element of this mini golf rental experience that we focused on was the putter stand. The client requested that the putter stand to be wrapped in certain areas. Our new putter stand that we designed and manufactured was now going to be branded on both sides, two areas of the front and the entire back. As far as the putters and the golf balls, since this course was going to be played by event guests who are also golfers, we provided professional putters along with regular golf balls instead of either mini golf balls and low bounce balls. The next area that was requested to be branded was the three sides of all of the tee boxes. When we were in the thinking stage of creating our mini golf deluxe experience, we wanted the sides of the tee boxes, fairways and holes to offer this. This was going to be first event where this would show the capabilities of this brandable area. The other brandable areas that we provided included both sides of the façade of the wooden bridge and branding the tops of the wooden triangles where the balls bounce off of on certain dog leg fairways.
